The Caretaker
Welcome to the “Eumundi Showgrounds & Sports Complex”. Now located on Blackstump Rd which is on the western side of town. In 2001 a large portion of the old grounds located on the southern end of the township was resumed to make way for the bypass for the coastal traffic. “Sunny Brae” (see picture), which was once the old hospital, was selected as the new location. As part of the relocation works the old building was raised and extensively renovated. The ground level has an open function/dining area coupled with a registered commercial grade kitchen with a large servery. This area can be hired for Sporting & Special Events, Weddings, Wakes, & O/nite Camping. The upstairs area has been used for itinerate events such as meetings, art displays, educational events just to name a few. Please contact our on site groundsman to either review our amenities and to make a booking.
