Council’s volunteering program is supported by more than 4,000 dedicated volunteers who share their time, skills and passion to support the Sunshine Coast community. Their contribution helps Council deliver a wide range of services, programs and experiences for people of all ages.
Volunteers are involved in many rewarding areas, including:

- Wildlife conservation and caring for native plants and animals
- Preserving heritage and local history by sharing stories and supporting cultural sites
