Currimundi Catchment Care Group

Anthony Moorhead

Currimundi Catchment Care Group (CCCG) is a dynamic group of volunteers active in the catchment of Currimundi Lake. We aim to improve water quality, prevent erosion and improve the environment in the natural areas, parks and waterways of the catchment including Currimundi Lake, Currimundi Creek (north and south arms), canals and Lake Kawana. Suburbs within the catchment include Aroona, Battery Hill, Birtynia, Bokarina, Currimundi, Little Mountain, Meridan Plains and Wurtulla. We encourage the local community to join us in our regular activities and to value and protect the natural beauty of our wonderful neighbourhood. We meet bi-monthly at the Talara Primary College, Talara St, Currimundi at 7pm. Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings. Membership is free. See our website (Events) for meeting dates.
