Our Historical Society's aim is to be "Here today - to collect, preserve and promote local history". We work closely with other local history and community groups to share local history stories and memories. We meet monthly at the Old Church Hall, Willis Road Bl Bli and the doors open from 9.00 am. All are welcome to join us for morning tea. Our members and supporters provide a living history of the local area of the Maroochy and Mooloolah Rivers. Our collection area covers Dunethin Rock to Bli Bli, Marcoola to Mudjimba, Rosemount to Diddillibah and from Maroochydore to Mooloolaba. We provide guest talks, displays, slideshows, heritage images and articles and publications to keep local history alive. We actively raise funds for local history projects.
