Quota Club of Coolum Beach

Quota Club of Coolum Beach is a community group who fundraise for disadvantaged women and children.

Quota of Coolum Beach was chartered in July,1995 under the banner of Quota International which folded in September 2020. We are now an independant club operating as Quota Club of Coolum Beach. Members share the values of serving and encouraging others, developing friendships, and promoting our service to the local community. We are a group of women from diverse backgrounds, sharing a common desire to volunteer their time to create projects which make an impact in our community. Quota Coolum supports the hearing and speech impaired, the disabled, the disadvantaged and abused women and children. We raise funds through fashion parades, sausage sizzles, high teas, basket auctions, fashion parades, morning teas, car-boot sales and raffles. We are always looking for new ideas on how to raise funds. Some of the organisations we support are S.T.E.M.M, Hear and Say Nambour, Riding for the Disabled, Salvation Army Emergency Housing and St Vincent de Paul, Program Connect and Chappy’s breakfast, Coolum RSL club, Tea for Teal. Love your Sister and the list is growing each year. The club is hands on and likes to visit these organisations several times a year if possible and this is such a rewarding experience and in some cases very emotional. Our club also leads a very active social life with coffee mornings, lunches, movies, picnics, market days, shopping days, family outings, themed nights, BBQ's ,the theatre and more. Quota Coolum Beach meets at the Lion's Den Russell St Coolum Beach at 2pm on the third Tuesday of the month from February through to the end of November.
