Queensland Country Women Association

QCWA new members welcome. Hall and kitchen available for hire. .

Since 1922, the QCWA has been about women from all over Queensland coming together for many different reasons, whether it is about meeting new people, making new friends, learning new skills or getting involved in the community. Whatever the reason, it is friendship and the overall desire to help others that has banded the women of this Organisation together. Come and join us at Maroochydore Branch each Monday at 9.30am – 104 Memorial Avenue Maroochydore, opposite the RSL, for our handcraft mornings with morning tea provided. We have our Branch meeting on the first Friday of each month at 9.30am when we discuss activities, share ideas and keep up to date with news from other Branches. We are pleased to support various charities on the Sunshine Coast. These include Wishlist, Little Windmills, Sunny Kids, Grandparents as Parents and DV Connect, by fundraising and donating to them a variety of items. Our hall is centrally located and is available for rent. Please give us a call should you need a venue to run a group or classes.

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share.
We commit to working in partnership with the Traditional Custodians and the broader First Nations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) community to support self-determination through economic and community development.
