Maleny Music Weekend

The Maleny Music Weekend was originally created as a celebration of 25 years from the first Maleny Folk Festival now more formally known as the Woodford folk festival. The Maleny Music Weekend features a diverse range of acoustic musical acts ranging from, Folk, Balkan Gypsy, Funk & Roots, Comedy, Poetry, Blues, Instrumental, Choirs, Japanese Drumming, plus workshops on Ukulele, Guitar, Singing, Banjo, Mandolin and black board spots, all of which have contributed towards making the event so popular. Visitors have enjoyed the intimacy of indoor venues and outdoor seduction of running creeks, giant trees and the fresh vibe of Maleny in the air, joined with the relaxed atmosphere of having camping and music so close to each other, is refreshing.
