Kari Celebrations

Kari Celebrations a creative business 4 bespoke occasions, street theatre, performance & ceramic art

Kari wears many hats. She is an artist, making fine stoneware pottery at Piccabeen Pottery in Palmwoods, which she shares with her potter husband Stephen Roberts. The studio is under their home. In the garden is a mini rainforest, free range chooks, and a wood fired kiln. Her ceramics salute a her-story version of history, exploring cuneiform, female form, & fine glazed wares, using celadons and ice craze glazes. Donning yet another hat, Kari plays wild clarinet in music from Eastern Europe & the Gypsies, and the meditative lap zither of Indonesia. Kari is also a celebrant, creating bespoke ceremonies for all occasions; wedding, funeral, babies, farewell, welcome; all life's special moments. She speaks French and Indonesian and can include music in her ceremonies. Kari takes a creative approach to all her projects, each one unique. Bespoke designs for bespoke projects.
