Buderim Craft Cottage

Buderim Craft Cottage provides a meeting place where artists and craftspeople can share their skills with each other, make art and craft, encourage the study and promotion of art and craft, and use their art and craft talents to help the community

Buderim Craft Cottage was registered as a not-for-profit community association in 1967. Its "home" is at 5 Main Street Buderim, where it provides work spaces, meeting rooms and an exhibition gallery for its 300 + members, who all make art and craft. The Cottage is organised into Art/Craft Groups, each representing a stream of creative activity. Members showcase their skills through Art/Craft fairs, open days, exhibitions, and the Cottage's Atrium Gallery which is open daily unless in use for a special exhibition or fair. Groups organise workshops, visits to visual arts venues for their members. Many groups support charities by donating art and craft goods or making cash donations

Sunshine Coast Council acknowledges the Sunshine Coast Country, home of the Kabi Kabi peoples and the Jinibara peoples, the Traditional Custodians, whose lands and waters we all now share.
We commit to working in partnership with the Traditional Custodians and the broader First Nations (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) community to support self-determination through economic and community development.
