Skate park

Quota Memorial Skate Park features street plaza elements alongside several small transition components, accommodating a diverse range of skating styles. The design ensures an engaging and versatile experience for skaters of varying skill levels. The park features elements such as a bended rail, kicker-to-kicker section, and curved flat banks.

For a list of other skate facilities in the region visit the Skate and BMX parks on the coast page.

Unfenced dog park

Quota Memorial Park includes a dog off leash area on the eastern side of the park. It’s located along the pathway across the pedestrian bridge. There is plenty of open space for ball throwing as well as an agility zone for owners to practice their dog’s agility skills and coordination.

Please me mindful of keeping your dog under control when other dogs and people are using the same area. Ensure your dogs remain 5 metres away from any barbecues and/or playground areas due  to health and safety reasons at all times.

For more information about where you can take your dog, visit the Exercising dogs page.

Communication boards

Communication boards are installed at playgrounds in several parks across the region. Each board contains a range of pictures and signs that can be used to express needs and wants, ask questions and offer choices.

Check out Council's Libraries page First 5 Forever communication boards for more information.
