Foote Memorial Sanctuary, also known as Eric Joseph Foote War Memorial Sanctuary, was given to Council in 1941 in memory of Eric Foote who died in the Great War (WW 1).

This former farm is now home to over 385 native plant species have been recorded.  The Foote Sanctuary Support Volunteer group attend regular working bees. The area has shelters with barbecue and picnic facilities and public amenities, (including parking) and is most enjoyed for it's re-vegetated bushland reserve that features over 2500 metres of trails to explore.
