This 235 metre elevated timber boardwalk marks the beginning of the Coastal Pathway. It begins from the Happy Valley Foreshore Reserve and connects the Clark Place Park (Happy Valley) to Dingle Avenue, Kings Beach. It is a wonderful backdrop for photographs with spectacular ocean views from Caloundra Head in the north to Bribie Island in the south. There are various seating areas along the boardwalk to sit and enjoy the view and stairs to access the beach at either end (Beach Access points 292 and 293).
