Pioneer Park and Bushland Conservation Reserve
Pioneer Park and Bushland Conservation Reserve is located along Eumundi-Kenilworth Road in Gheerulla. It’s an historical park providing open space areas for taking a break. There is plenty of natural shade, non-flushing public amenities, picnic tables and seating. It's conveniently located close to Kenilworth and its surrounds.
Pioneer Park has history dating back to 1940, as the Main Roads Commission came up with plans to reroute the Eumundi-Kenilworth Road to build a new bridge crossing the Gheerulla Creek. To find out more visit Council's Names origins directory.
