Fenced dog park
Grand Parade Park, also known as Kawana Island dog park is a fully fenced dog off-leash area, located on Grand Parade between Tarawa Street and Tortola Place.
The park backs onto the bend of the Mooloolah River with plenty of vegetation between the park and the river. The dog park is connected to other facilities within the area by a wide pedestrian pathway. It contains a large open grass area for kick and throw activities, a dog bowl and taps, park seating and trees surrounding the grassed area providing shade at various times of the day.
