Ayliffe Park

Ayliffe Park is the largest foreshore park at Golden Beach, providing plenty of facilities. It lies between Oxley and McLean Streets, opposite the northern tip of Bribie Island. The playground is sheltered by shade sails and offers plenty of interest, as well as a fenced Liberty Swing (wheelchair accessible).

Ayliffe Park provides shelters with picnic tables and beach showers dotted along the foreshore. The is a playground under shade sails, as well as a Liberty Swing for wheelchair use.

This Liberty Swing is housed in a fully fenced area and is located adjacent to Earnshaw Street.  Please contact council to obtain the key. The park is wheelchair accessible by the 2 to 3 metre coastal pathway link and a 1 to 1.5 metre concrete walkway is provided for access into the playground area. The general playground sits on a wood chip surface and under shade sails.

The public amenities are located in the middle of the park, adjacent to Earnshaw Street. Off street car parking is available at various locations along Esplanade Golden Beach.

Care needs to be taken when swimming here as there are tidal currents.
