Beach access points 131 to 136. Beach walkers can enjoy the serenity of the unspoilt surroundings. Twin Waters Resort is adjacent to this beach. There is a Lifeguard Tower and public amenities at Beach Access point 131 and public amenities and picnic shelters at the end of North Shore Road.
This is a patrolled beach. For information on patrol times, visit the beachsafe website.
Dogs are allowed off lead at all times on the ocean side beach between the low water mark and the base of the dune area, extending from Pin Cushion at the Maroochy River mouth to Beach Access point 132, and 500 metres south of the Twin Waters Lifeguard Tower. Dogs are NOT permitted off leash on the river side. To protect our foreshores and native animals, dogs are NOT permitted within the dunal Maroochy River-Mudjimba Foreshore Bushland Conservation Reserve. There are dog wash facilities near the public amenities block in North Shore Road Park.

Be a responsible pet owner: Please note that it’s your responsibility to have doggie bags with you at all times when taking your dog for a walk in public. Please don’t rely on the doggie bag dispensers as they are in high demand and may need restocking, so don’t get caught out.
