Nelson Park
Positioned between Okinja Road and Mari Street, Nelson Park features a beautiful lake and fully fenced shaded playground, accessed via the carpark off Katoa Street. The park also includes picnic facilities, shelters, barbecues and connecting pedestrian pathways, with the public amenities and Alex Community Garden located outside the fenced playground.

Communication boards

Communication boards are installed at playgrounds in several parks across the region. Each board contains a range of pictures and signs that can be used to express needs and wants, ask questions and offer choices.
