Keith Royal Park provides plenty of natural shade, a shelter with barbecue and picnic facilities and a playground protected from the sun by shade sails. The park also provides a full size cricket pitch and oval and separate open grass kick-about area. The cricket oval is used for competitive matches during the cricket season, so dogs are not permitted on the playing oval. However located on the northern side of the oval is the 'Marcoola Dog Park'. The dog park provides plenty of natural shade and is a fully fenced dog off leash park. Keith Royal Oval also provides public amenities.

See the location of Keith Royal Park using the Beaches and Parks Directory Map for further information.

Other useful information

We’ve created a handy interactive map to help you identify the dog off-leash, on-leash and prohibited areas when you’re out and about across the Sunshine Coast local government region.

We’ve also included locations for dog water bowls so you can keep your pet hydrated.

Be a responsible pet owner: Please note that it’s your responsibility to have doggie bags with you at all times when taking your dog for a walk in public. Please don’t rely on the doggie bag dispensers as they are in high demand and may need restocking, so don’t get caught out.

For general information visit Council's 'Dog parks and off-leash areas' page.
