Kawana Island Dog off Leash area is a fully fenced dog off-leash area, located on Grand Parade at Grand Parade Park (adjacent between Tarawa Street and Tortola Place).
The park backs onto the bend of the Mooloolah River with plenty of vegetation between the park and the river. The dog park is connected to other facilities within the area by a wide pedestrian pathway. It contains a large open grass area for play, a dog bowl and taps, park seating and trees surrounding the grassed area providing shade at various times of the day.

Other useful information
We’ve created a handy interactive map to help you identify the dog off-leash, on-leash and prohibited areas when you’re out and about across the Sunshine Coast local government region.
We’ve also included locations for dog water bowls so you can keep your pet hydrated.
Be a responsible pet owner: Please note that it’s your responsibility to have doggie bags with you at all times when taking your dog for a walk in public. Please don’t rely on the doggie bag dispensers as they are in high demand and may need restocking, so don’t get caught out.
