Cotton Tree Park features two playgrounds with play elements that encourage all levels of play and discovery. A short stroll along the connecting pathways you will find Des Scanlan, Black Swan Park and the Cotton Tree Caravan Park Picnic Area (see further information below). Cotton Tree Park also features two jetties: the First Jetty near the Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre, and the Second Jetty (Cotton Tree Pier) adjacent to the park playground. Both jetties are popular spots for fishing with stunning views to the north over the Maroochy River.

Des Scanlan

Des Scanlan is located in front of the Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre at Cotton Tree Parade and provides two basketball half-courts, a modified netball court and table tennis tables. There is a grassed area for kick and throw activities. The pedestrian pathway connects through to Cotton Tree Park.

Black Swan Park

Black Swan Park is named after the Aboriginal word for red-bill. It is located beside the Cotton Tree Boatshed Restaurant and behind the Cotton Tree Aquatic Centre. There are picnic tables and seating with some mature trees for shade. 

Cotton Tree Caravan Park Picnic Area

The Cotton Tree Caravan Park Picnic Area is adjacent to the Cotton Tree Holiday Park and provides additional amenities as well as a small area with picnic tables and seating.
