Ayliffe Park is the largest of the foreshore parks at Golden Beach with plenty of facilities on offer. The park lies between Oxley and McLean Streets, opposite the northern tip of Bribie Island.
There is a playground located and a Liberty Swing adjacent to Earnshaw Street. The Liberty Swing is also available (wheelchair accessible). Please contact council to obtain the key. The park is wheelchair accessible by the 2 to 3 metre coastal pathway link and a 1 to 1.5 metre concrete walkway is provided for access into the playground area. The general playground sits on a wood chip surface and under shade sails.
There are shelters with picnic tables and beach showers dotted along the foreshore. The public amenities are located in the middle of the park, adjacent to Earnshaw Street. Off street car parking is available at various locations along Esplanade Golden Beach.
Care needs to be taken when swimming here as there are tidal currents.
See the location of Ayliffe Park using the Beaches and Parks Directory Map for further information.
