Where to from here

The adoption of the master plan provides council and stakeholders with a sound base to lobby the state and federal governments for funding. This will be conducted in partnership with the Sports Complex Management Committee, the community and council.

Sporting facilities play an important role in the local community. Master planning helps to provide infrastructure which reflects community need.

The Coolum Sports Complex Master Plan considers:

  • arrangements and uses of the site
  • the landscape
  • trends and issues
  • catchment areas and population demands
  • car parking and traffic movement.
