The Kenilworth Community Transport Service (KCTS) provides services to residents of the following localities of the Sunshine Coast Region: Belli Park, Cambroon, Conondale (part), Coolabine, Eerwah Vale, Gheerulla, Kenilworth, Kidaman Creek and Obi Obi. See a map (PDF, 1021KB) showing these localities.

The community-run service offers pre-booked return services to Nambour, Mapleton, Maleny, Eumundi and Yandina, during daylight hours, Monday to Friday. Trips to Sunshine Coast University Hospital can also be arranged on request.

All drivers are volunteers. The service endeavours to have drivers available Monday to Thursday every week. The service is normally able to provide drivers on Fridays and weekends if required. It is important to note that all trips are dependent on drivers being available. If you are interested in becoming a driver, please contact the committee at [email protected].

Supported by the transport levy, the KCTS provides affordable, reliable and accessible community transport options to residents of the Kenilworth region who have limited transport options.

Becoming a user

To access the KCTS you need to reside in one of the localities mentioned above.

You first need to register as a user by completing the online form, the user registration form (DOCX, 125KB), or you can contact the sub-committee at [email protected].

You can return your form in person at the Kenilworth post office, or via email to [email protected].

Once a user registration form is received, the KCTS sub-committee will verify that you meet all necessary requirements. You will then be informed if your application has been successful.
