There are over 30 BushCare groups across the Sunshine Coast — from the coast to the hinterland. Groups meet regularly to restore bushland at a local environment reserve, removing environmental weeds and planting native species.

No experience is needed. Just turn up, get involved and go home knowing you've made a real difference and some new friends.

         What to expect:

    • Monthly working bees (generally 2 – 3 hours, 8 - 10am)
    • Tools, gloves and materials provided
    • Friendly BushCare staff and volunteers providing guidance
    • Morning tea and community connection
    • Onsite training and guidance from an experienced council officer or volunteer group leader.
    • Workshops, social and networking activities throughout the year
    • A welcoming, no-pressure environment — come when you can
