Delivers projects or actions that restore, protect, or enhance natural environments such as biodiversity, waterways, wetlands, forests, beaches or coastal ecosystems. Shows clear environmental outcomes with measurable improvements if possible.
Uses innovative approaches to deliver on conservation
Trials new methods (e.g. regenerative practices, restoration techniques, monitoring tools, nature‑based solutions). Applies creative, science-based, technology-driven or First Nations knowledge solutions to environmental challenges.
Encourages community involvement and delivers education about the natural environment
Actively engages Traditional Custodians, volunteers, local groups, schools, or community members in hands‑on environmental, social or economic activities. Builds environmental awareness through education, workshops, talks, citizen science or partnerships.
