Kids in Action grows a culture that values caring for the natural world. It brings together hundreds of students and teachers from across the region to share experiences and learnings with a common goal to help save the Coast's spectacular environment. The conference is part of National Kids Teaching Kids Week, where students become the teachers sharing the environmental projects they have been working on across the Kids Teaching Kids community.

This year over 300 students from 25 Sunshine Coast schools attended the Kids in Action Conference on 11 September 2019 at Venue 114 in Kawana. They shared some amazing projects that drew upon their partnership working with First Nations People about the significant and special flora and fauna species that can be found on the Sunshine Coast.
