Migrant Business Ready Scholarship
Are you ready to turn your business dream into reality?
The Migrant Business Ready Scholarship is your opportunity to gain the skills, confidence, and connections to grow as an entrepreneur on the Sunshine Coast.
This fully funded program, proudly delivered by Sunshine Coast Council, is designed especially for migrants who want to start or grow a business. Over eight weeks, you’ll be guided by The Learning Coach, gaining practical tools, mentorship, and a strong network of peers and industry leaders.
What you'll experience:
- 8 weekly coaching circles (2.5 hours each from 8 October – 12 November 2025).
- Supportive, hands-on learning with other entrepreneurial migrants.
- Clear steps to shape your business vision and bring it to life.
- Practical skills in customer strategy, sales and marketing, financial planning, and risk management.
- An online coaching portal to keep you connected between sessions.
- A pathway to upgrade into a nationally recognised Certificate III or IV in Business.

- Confident in spoken and written English.
- With an ABN (or willing to register for one).
- Committed to attending all eight sessions.

New business assistance with New Enterprise Incentive Scheme
New Business Assistance with NEIS provides support to people interested in starting their own business or who need help to refocus an existing micro-business.
