Council has extended its assistance to residents cleaning up after Saturday night’s storm.

Residents can now dispose of storm damaged green waste at no charge at the Buderim Resource Recovery Centre, in addition to free disposal at the Beerwah Resource and Recovery Centre (both locations until Monday 18 December).

Council is also clearing large storm damaged green waste and mulching on site in Landsborough and Beerwah to assist residents in the worst affected areas, after additional evaluations determined very high volumes of green waste.

Free disposal is for genuine storm related green waste from the weather event last weekend. Please note there may be long queues to access the resource recovery centres and your patience is appreciated.
