Horizon Festival
Horizon Festival is an annual arts and cultural festival exploring the intersections of art, people and place on Kabi Kabi/Jinibara country, Sunshine Coast.

Horizon Festival is more than a program of events. It is the feeling of salt air and sunset light. It is live music spilling into the street. It is artists and storytellers, dancers and chefs, musicians and performers bringing fresh energy to familiar places.
It is laughter in local streets, late nights at gigs, and conversations that carry on well beyond the final show.
Presented by Sunshine Coast Council since 2016, Horizon is a key deliverable in the Sunshine Coast Creative Arts Plan 2023–2038, and pillar of the region’s cultural offer coming into Brisbane 2032.
Horizon Festival returns 1–10 May 2026. Celebrating its tenth year, the Festival shines a light on diverse voices, shared experiences, and the power of belonging. 35+ programmed events span First Nations culture, visual and performing arts, live music, community engagement, and families.
