Tai Chi and Qi Gong

Another exciting new class is added to the Healthy Sunshine Coast ‘arsenal’ - Tai Chi and Qi Gong on the beach in Mudjimba.

Both Tai Chi and Qi Gong are traditional Chinese "moving meditations" that combine slow, gentle movements, deep breathing, and focused intention to improve physical and mental health.

Qi Gong focuses on cultivating energy flow for health, and also acts as a foundation for Tai Chi, a more complex, choreographed martial art. Both increase energy, balance, and reduce stress. 

Regular practice of Tai Chi promotes: strength; mindfulness; neuroplasticity; relaxation; balance; and flexibility.

Join Nathan Coxsen from Chenstyle Tai Chi Australia for this unique class that combines both Tai Chi and Qi Gong in the one class!

Nathan is a highly experienced practitioner, having practiced tai chi for over 20 years, and has travelled to China and Europe many times to study and develop his skills. 

Fridays (weekly) at 6.30am.

Meditation

Join Healthy Sunshine Coast’s new class - Meditation on Tuesdays at 6.45am and it’s FREE. 

Brahma Kumaris Centre's for Spiritual Learning offer this weekly Raja Yoga Meditation session in Tickle Park, overlooking the beach at Coolum Beach. 

Raja Yoga is an ancient practice that helps individuals experience inner peace, self-mastery, and a deeper connection with their true self.

Through guided meditation and spiritual insights, participants learn practical ways to manage the mind, reduce stress, and bring greater clarity and resilience into daily life.

Sunrise Fitness

Join Sunshine Coast Wellness for a new general fitness class - Sunrise Fitness on Mondays at 6.30am by the beach at beautiful Chambers Island, Maroochydore.

This class focusses on functional movements that help you feel stronger and more energetic in your daily life.

Break away from the mundane gym routine and harness the energy of the outdoors!

This introductory level outdoor fitness session is designed to build strength, conditioning, balance and wellness for all age groups.
