Honey Farm Sport & Recreation Precinct

This precinct will encourage the community to be involved in active sports, outdoor recreation, healthy living and community events.

About

The Honey Farm Sport & Recreation Precinct will provide formal and informal sport, leisure and recreation activities, catering for current and future growth and trends in sport and recreation activities staged in-line with budget availability. Council adopted a master plan to guide the development of the Precinct at Council's Ordinary Meeting on 25 March 2021.

2027 - Timing to be confirmed - site activation 

  • Caloundra Football Club relocation from Meridan Fields Sporting Complex to Honey Farm Sport & Recreation Precinct
  • Sunshine Coast Wanderers Football Club relocating from Ballinger Park, Buderim to Honey Farm Sport & Recreation Precinct

2028 - Timing to be confirmed - site activation 

  • Sunshine Coast Cricket Association and Sunshine Coast Scorchers relocating from Elizabeth Daniels Sports Complex to Honey Farm Sport & Recreation Precinct
