Kids in Action News

25 Sunshine Coast schools are currently putting the final touches on their presentations and workshops for the Kids in Action Conference being held on 7 September 2018 at the Lake Kawana Community Centre. There are some amazing school projects being showcased including a quest to find the most useful tree, how to dress in style whilst also being sustainable, and how to close the loop on food waste. If you are a teacher interested in finding out more about the program and would like to drop in and join the fun, please contact kidsinaction@sunshinecoast.qld.gov.au.

Kids in Action grows a culture that values caring for the natural world. Join hundreds of students and teachers from across the region who will come together to share experiences and learnings to help save the Coast's spectacular environment.

Kids in Action brings schools together to explore local environmental issues. The conference is part of Kids Teaching Kids Week.
