Weather causes road and beach closures across region

The Sunshine Coast Regional Council advises that in the best interest of community safety with the continuing heavy to moderate rainfall, to observe the following

- Do not drive unless you absolutely have to

- Do not drive through flood waters under any circumstance – even if you think you know the terrain

- Do not allow children to play in floodwater of any kind

- Do not go anywhere near beaches and the surf.
