Lightning home game tickets go on sale

The first home game tickets have gone on sale for the Sunshine Coast Lightning's inaugural Suncorp Super Netball season.

With less than two weeks to go until Sunshine Coast plays its first ever competition match against Queensland rival, Firebirds, it’s time for the club’s supporters to start preparing for a busy season.

Tickets to Sunshine Coast’s first three home games at USC Stadium went on sale to Lightning members at midday today (Tuesday) and will be available to the region’s netball associations at midday on Friday, February 10 and to the public at midday on Tuesday, February 14.

Sunshine Coast Lightning chief executive officer Danielle Smith said the club’s supporters had plenty to look forward to.

“It’s a thrilling time for the Lightning community with the team really taking shape and looking forward to the first competition match on Saturday, February 18,” Smith said.

“I strongly suggest members and fans get in early to purchase tickets as indications suggest they’ll be a must-have item for Coast sports fans.

“There are five fantastic home matches scheduled at USC Stadium which will be highly entertaining.

“The way the Sunshine Coast region has supported the club since its establishment has been extremely pleasing and we would love to have our fans courtside to celebrate the history-making events together.”

While Lightning foundation memberships will remain on sale throughout the season, there are incentives and outstanding savings to be had by joining today.

All three membership categories; Supporter, Gold and Platinum offer fans great value for money.

By becoming a foundation member, you will receive access to the exclusive priority buying window for a special allocation of tickets across the various price categories, as well as receive a 25% discount off the price of match tickets.

All tickets at USC Stadium will be reserved seating, with members receiving a 25% discount*. An adult, member ticket price starts at $26.25.
