Kawana Aquatic Centre 25m pool refurbishment works

The 25m pool at the Kawana Aquatic Centre will undergo planned refurbishment works as part of Sunshine Coast Council’s ongoing commitment to providing quality community recreation venues.

The 25m pool at the Kawana Aquatic Centre will undergo planned refurbishment works as part of Sunshine Coast Council’s ongoing commitment to providing quality community recreation venues.

Subject to weather, it is anticipated the 25m pool will be closed for six weeks from Saturday, April 6. The refurbishment works will include the repainting of the pool shell and preventative maintenance.

Please note the centre will remain open during this time for all Kawana Aquatic Centre programs including Learn to Swim, squad, aqua aerobics and water polo and general access to the remainder of the complex.

Sunshine Coast Council and the centre manager apologise for any inconvenience and thank the community for their patience.
