Fuel hazard reduction burning operations by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council in conjunction with Queensland Fire and Rescue Service will be occurring.

Fuel hazard reduction burning operations by the Sunshine Coast Regional Council in conjunction with Queensland Fire and Rescue Service will be occurring.

During an afternoon in the period of 28 May to 6 June, when conditions are suitable, areas in Creekside, Currimundi, and Council-owned bushland behind homes in Redleaf Court and Mimosa Crescent will be affected.

Council in conjunction with Queensland Fire and Rescue Service will conduct hazard reduction burning operations to reduce flammable fuels, reduce weed populations and promote regeneration of native species.
