Need help with seeking sponsorship for your not-for-profit group or interested in applying for one of Sunshine Coast Council’s grants that are currently open?

Then come along to one of the free grant information sessions on offer in late July through to early August.

At these sessions, you will gain valuable information on seeking and attracting sponsorship and getting those useful tips on application writing to ensure your application checks all the right boxes.

Open now, the Community Grants Program provides community groups funding assistance up to $30,000 towards projects and programs that benefit Sunshine Coast communities.

Also open for application are the Environment Levy Grants with up to $5000 funding for projects that make a positive and ongoing contribution to the region’s biodiversity and waterways.

Funding for all grants programs is very competitive so Council encourages interested applicants to plan and prepare by contacting a grants officer or attending one of the information sessions.

Each grant category has its own criteria and funding requirements which need to be carefully considered to ensure your organisation’s project is suitable.

The free grant information sessions are a great opportunity for applicants to gain valuable grant writing skills and explore other funding opportunities.

The sessions will be held at selected locations across the region between July 29 and August 5.

  • July 29, 2015 from 4 – 5.30pm at North Shore Community Centre, Mudjimba
  • August 3, 2015 from 4 - 5.30pm at Lake Kawana Community Centre
  • August 5, 2015 from 4 - 5.30pm at Nambour Community Centre

Bookings are essential. Book online at Council’s website or contact 5420 8616 for more information or for help with your application.
