Don’t fur-get to bring your four-legged friends along to the pet and people friendly launch of Sunshine Coast Council’s Domestic Animal Strategy 2014–2020 this Sunday, between 7.30 - 11.30am, at Elizabeth Daniels Park on Syd Lingard Dr, Buderim.
This is the perfect opportunity to microchip your cat or dog for FREE as well as meet popular TV character, local ‘Agro’ when he officially unveils the strategy with Community Programs Portfolio Councillor Jenny McKay.
The Pet Partnership Team, 4 Paws, Sunshine Coast Animal Refuge and RSPCA will join Council in providing a jam-packed morning with all things important for responsible owners and their pets, including entertainment for people and animals, food stalls, sample bags, animal training and much more.
And who knows? Maybe we’ll make a responsible pet of Agro yet.
Throughout the event, dogs must be on-leash and cats must be in a cage at all times.
