I was pleased to assist the residents of Wisteria Crescent, Sippy Downs, in talks with council to find solutions for deterring anti-social behaviour at the recreational area behind their homes. Residents have welcomed news that gates and bollards will be installed to deter these undesirables and return some peace and serenity to the neighbourhood.
Don’t dump rubbish in our backyard
Reports of rubbish and other unwanted goods being dumped in public areas are on the rise. Not only is dumping unsightly and potentially dangerous, cleaning of these sites diverts valuable time and public funds from other council initiatives. To help keep your neighbourhood free of illegal dumping, report any incidents to Council—phone 5475 7272 or email [email protected]
Meet and greet at the Old Post Office
I will be at the Old Post Office in Buderim from 10am to 11.30am on Friday, March 20. I look forward to catching up with local residents and business people to discuss issues of importance to you. Please note that this session is shorter than usual as I am attending an Australian citizenship ceremony at Lake Kawana.
