I invite you to join me on Tuesday 27 November from 9.30-11am in the Caloundra Administration Building (1 Omrah Ave) to learn about new ways of interacting with Council. We’ll provide you with a better understanding of Council Apps, Disaster Management and the newly released Development.i program. A light morning tea will be served following the presentations. To ensure your place, please contact my office on 5420 8978 as seating is limited.
Responsible pet ownership sessions
It was great to see so many residents attend the recent pop-up education stall at Ballinger Beach (Currimundi). While I was there I took the opportunity to join council officers on beach patrol. Interestingly, I observed plenty of dog owners doing the right thing, which is awesome, however there are still some who persist with the attitude of “rules don’t apply to me”. If you are walking your pet in public, please note that you must always remain in control of your dog/s at all times whether in an on or off leash area to ensure the safety of people and other animals, and you must take responsibility to pick up after your dog to keep our environment clean.
