Sunshine Coast Council will announce proposed new childcare arrangements at 10am on Friday 20 November, following a decision made at today’s Ordinary Meeting of council.
This announcement will affect more than 150 children in council’s three childcare centres, as well as those families who use council’s two outside-school-hours-care services, which provide 103 after school care places and 165 vacation care places.
Chair of council’s Service Delivery Committee, Councillor Paul Tatton, will explain why these changes are being made and how they will benefit staff and children at council-run childcare centres and after school/vacation care.
