Community Information Days: Cooroy Waste Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Study
The existing Cooroy Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) is soon to be upgraded by Council in order to meet water quality and environmental licence standards.

The existing Cooroy Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) is soon to be upgraded by Council in order to meet water quality and environmental licence standards.
Council has engaged Consultants GHD Pty Ltd to:
- Assess the potential reuse of treated wastewater (water recycling) in the Cooroy area;
- Conduct an environmental assessment of the plant and associated wetlands and;
- Provide a planning study to support an upgrade of the plant to approximately two megalitres per day.

As part of the Cooroy WWTP Study, Council is seeking input from Cooroy residents on the proposed upgrade. Your feedback is welcomed and will be considered by Council and the GHD study team in developing the most appropriate design concept.
Community Information Days will be held on Saturday 21 and 28 June 2008 between 9:30am – 12:30pm, outside Cooroy IGA Supermarket, Cooroy.
