Buderim local Antoinette O’Connor discusses her new book Travelling the World at Caloundra Library at 10am on Monday 5 October.
Hear Antoinette’s travel stories from the big cities of Washington and Rome to the more exotic Jordan and Morocco as she discusses her tips for hassle-free travel.
Unsatisfied by other travel books, Antoinette writes for those in between backpacker and five star jetsetters and focuses on tips for the average person who simply wants to see the world.
“Travel is all about opportunity and taking those challenges to travel when it arises,” says Antoinette, who took all of her travels alone or in small groups.
Her book has a broad range of stories including staying in convents and youth hostels as well as living it up at five star hotels on the Nile.
This is a great chance for seasoned travellers to reminisce and for first-timers to plan their journeys.
Meet the Author is run regularly at libraries across the Coast to allow readers and authors to meet and discuss latest books and the craft of writing.
To book your place for this free event, which includes morning tea, please contact the Caloundra Library on 5491 1255.
