Arts community invited to connect at Coolum arts dinner
The arts industry and wider community are invited to enjoy fine local food, art and networking at Sunshine Coast Council’s second Arts Dinner on Thursday 15 November from 5.45pm at the Coolum Civic Centre.
The arts industry and wider community are invited to enjoy fine local food, art and networking at Sunshine Coast Council’s second Arts Dinner on Thursday 15 November from 5.45pm at the Coolum Civic Centre.
The theme for the evening will be Eat Local, Art Local and will highlight some of the region’s best tastes and talents.
The dinner is being held in the lead up to the Golden Days Festivalweekend and will feature short performances from some of the Coast’s best local musicians.
Guests will also hear an inspirational talk by Lyndon Davis from the Gubbi Gubbi Dance Troupe who will be a special guest speaker for the evening.
Local food producers and suppliers from the Seasons on the Sun initiative will showcase the natural flavours of the Sunshine Coast with tastings and treats available to sample at the event.
Guests are encouraged to bring a plate of food to share with council also contributing to the dinner. A cash bar will be available operated by the Creative Alliance.
