Changing approach due to novel coronavirus (COVID-19)

In response to the unique situation COVID19 has placed us, council is adapting its approach to grants and funding to meet changing community need.  Further details can be found on each grant program’s webpage.

Note: assessment of the major grant round which closed on 16 March 2020 is continuing.

Successful grant recipients from previous rounds who are experiencing difficulty in delivering their project in this current environment are advised to contact the Grants Team via with the details of your issue so we can discuss options going forward. For example, you may wish to seek a project variation to extend your project dates.

We are grateful for your patience with us as we deal with a large number of enquiries at this time.  We are working hard to get back to everyone as quickly as possible, so we can help support you in the important work your organisations do to build a strong community.

Council’s website has lots of information on Community Support to help you through this challenging time, including a practical At Home in My Neighbourhood #CovidKindness resource hub – which will help you stay informed about the different supports available across governments and the community sector.
