Council provides eight waste management and resource recovery facilities on the Coast. These facilities do not have public weighbridges. There are recycling and second hand markets at Buderim, Caloundra, Beerwah and Witta.
Visitors must wear closed in footwear at all facilities. This is a health and safety requirement. People wearing sandals or thongs will be refused entry.

The commercial credit account applications (DOCX, 357KB) - are for commercial/business use only. Accepted at all sites except Kenilworth and Yandina.
Note:
- Tipping trailers are unable to be used to dispose of general waste at the transfer deck at Caloundra RRC until further notice. All loads must be unloaded by hand.
- Vehicle Loading Cranes (VLCs) will be accepted at our Waste Diversion | Disposal Facilities for waste and recycling disposal activities excluding asbestos at the landfill tip face. VLCs shall not be permitted to unload or decant using the vehicles crane under any circumstance. VLCs shall only be permitted to tip or hand unload only.
