Management plan for domestic animals (cats and dogs)
Council adopted the management plan for domestic animals (cats and dogs) 2021-2030 at its Ordinary Meeting on 24 June 2021.
Sunshine Coast Design Strategy
As part of the Design Strategy, council endorsed the Sunshine Coast Design book at the Ordinary Meeting on 27 November 2019.

Sunshine Coast major events strategy 2018-2028 (2023 refresh)
Council adopted the Sunshine Coast major events strategy 2018-2027 at its ordinary meeting on Thursday 14 June 2018. On Thursday 24 August 2023, council adopted the ‘refreshed’ Sunshine Coast major events strategy 2018-2028 (2023 refresh).
Sunshine Coast stormwater management strategy
Council adopted the stormwater management strategy at its Ordinary Meeting on 19 August 2021 to set the direction for stormwater management in the region.

Sunshine Coast waste strategy was adopted as the key document to guide council's future waste management decisions until 2025.
