Rubbish tip locations and fees

Location, operating hours, fees/costs, facilities and services for Sunshine Coast waste resource recovery centres.

Council provides eight waste management and resource recovery facilities on the Coast. These facilities do not have public weighbridges. There are recycling and second hand markets at Buderim, Caloundra, Beerwah and Witta. See the rubbish tips locality map.

Visitors must wear closed in footwear at all facilities. This is a health and safety requirement. People wearing sandals or thongs will be refused entry.

The commercial credit account applications (DOCX, 357KB) - are for commercial/business use only. Accepted at all sites except Kenilworth and Yandina.

Note: Vehicle Loading Cranes (VLCs) will be accepted at our Waste Diversion | Disposal Facilities for waste and recycling disposal activities excluding asbestos at the landfill tip face. VLCs shall not be permitted to unload or decant using the vehicles crane under any circumstance. VLCs shall only be permitted to tip or hand unload only.

Commercial - pesticides, chemicals and non architectural paint (full disposal fee applies per 20 litres or part thereof ) - not available all sites.

NON ACCEPTANCE
Council does not have the facilities for disposing of fuel or diesel. To find companies that dispose fuel or diesel refer to the Yellow Pages.
