Council, in partnership with First Nations peoples, supports the preservation and promotion of First Nations knowledge.

First Nations knowledge

First Nations knowledge can be held, communicated and passed on in a wide variety of forms. Language, stories, song, art, dance and songlines are used to communicate important lessons of life, culture, craft, survival, navigation, pedagogy, and knowledge of science, agriculture, food and medicine.
