If you have difficulty speaking or understanding English you can contact Translating and Interpreting Service. They will find someone to translate your needs. 

The majority of services are free to non-English speakers. 

Translation and Interpreting Service provides access to interpreters over the phone or to attend an appointment in person.

  • Immediate phone interpreting is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year by calling 131 450.
  • Pre-booked phone interpreting is used for longer meetings and interpreting more information.
  • On-site interpreters can attend face to face meetings such as doctors appointment.
